the Fund is assisting in 2011
In
2011 the Anglican Outback Fund is supporting Anglicans in five Outback dioceses:
North Queensland
Northern Territory
North West Australia
Riverina
(NSW)
Willochra
(
S.A.
)
Your support of the Anglican Outback Fund in 2011 would assist in:
- Funding two Ministry Development Officers
- Developing local outback congregations into ministering communities
- Supporting and training lay people for ministry
- Training and supervising local ministry
- Funding costs of providing ministry to Anglicans in remote outback areas in four dioceses
- Funding indigenous ministry in Darwin and in the remote communities of Oombulgurrie and Wyndham in W.A.
- Funding support for Aboriginal Prison Chaplaincy
- Funding to enable clergy in the outback to attend synods and conferences
- Funding to provide ministry to small communities including in the Riverina – Barellan/Weethalle, Ariah Park/Ardlethan
